Board of Directors
Foresight in governance
The Board of Directors steers the Rhaetian Railway with strategic foresight. It consists of seven members who are appointed by the Canton of Graubünden and the Swiss Confederation or elected by the General Meeting.
Management Board
Moving RhB forward
The Executive Board manages the Rhaetian Railway at the operational level. The Director and six divisional managers ensure that the company runs smoothly. The members of the Executive Board are elected by the Board of Directors.
Advisory Board
Providing advice
The Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on structural, technical and commercial developments at RhB. The Grand Council and the Government of the Canton of Graubünden each elect ten members to the Advisory Board for a term of four years.

Over 1,800 employees work for the Rhaetian Railway, both in front of and behind the scenes. They ensure that our trains run reliably, day in, day out. Although we are divided into different business areas in terms of organisation, we work hand in hand to ensure that our passengers and goods reach their destinations safely and on time.
