The Rhaetian Railway (RhB) – the largest Alpine railway in Switzerland – has a high-performance 385-kilometre network of tracks.
The trains travel through the picturesque landscape of the Graubünden Alps and over numerous engineering structures. Since 2008, two of the lines have formed the UNESCO World Heritage route known as the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes.
Thanks to the good and uncomplicated collaboration with the providers Sunrise and Swisscom, the Vereina Tunnel is equipped throughout with 3G/4G services. This means passengers can conveniently work on their mobile devices throughout their trip through the tunnel. On other RhB routes, mobile reception varies according to the topographical situation. The map below provides an overview of the signal strength of the individual providers Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt on the RhB network.
