RhB World Heritage Association

Protection, preservation and further development of UNESCO World Heritage routes

Working together for world-class world heritage

The RhB World Heritage Association was founded in 2007 to protect and further develop the UNESCO World Heritage site “Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes”. Rhaetian Railway, the federal government, the canton of Graubünden, the province of Sondrio and municipalities within the perimeter are represented in the RhB World Heritage Association.

Two expert committees advise the association on issues relating to the protection and sustainable use, as well as on raising awareness among guests and locals. This ensures that this unique heritage remains alive in the future.
