Renovation Zuoz railway station

2025 - 2027

Zuoz station is set to undergo extensive refurbishment between 2025 and 2027 to ensure it meets today’s requirements for modern, accessible and future-oriented rail transport. The focus is on improved access, greater comfort for passengers and a state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Two new Perrons, each 225 metres long, are planned. Both Perrons will be connected by a new pedestrian underpass. At the same time, all technical systems throughout the station area will be upgraded. These include, amongst other things, the catenary systems, lighting, and signalling and signal box technology. A new technical building will be constructed to house the necessary railway technology; this will form part of the new pedestrian underpass and will be accessed from it.

These measures will enhance Zuoz station in a sustainable manner and ensure it is equipped for the coming decades.
