Travelling with reduced mobility

The busiest Rhaetian Railway stations are barrier-free and can be used independently by people with reduced mobility. Assistance is available at some stations. The following map provides an overview of the RhB stations and their barrier-free use: overview map of barrier-free stations

Passengers with reduced mobility can get the GA travelcard (GA) and the Graubünden GA travelcard (BÜGA) for 1st or 2nd class at a reduced price. The GA travelcard for passengers with reduced mobility (GA IV) can be purchased online or with an order form. Details of all documents that you need to present at a point of sale to purchase a GA travelcard or BÜGA for passengers with reduced mobility can be found on the swisspass.ch or invia.ch website.

Additional service: with the companion subscription, an accompanying person and/or a guide dog or assistance dog travel free of charge on the networks of the Swiss transport companies participating in the Half-Fare travelcard scheme.

Yes, some seats are wheelchair-accessible. These seats can only be booked via Railservice: Tel.: +41 81 288 65 65 or via e-mail: railservice@rhb.ch. Wheelchair-accessible seats on the Bernina Express bus can also be booked exclusively via Railservice.

Because the gourmet journeys take place in nostalgic coaches, the trips are not barrier-free.
