Yes, luggage racks are available. However, the storage space is limited. The baggage delivery service is available as an alternative or for large pieces of luggage.

Self-service bicycle transport is not allowed on the Bernina Express. However, bicycles can be transported on the same route on regional trains. Bicycles cannot be transported on the Bernina Express Bus.

Yes. Small dogs (up to 30 cm shoulder height) travel free of charge in a transport box. Larger dogs require a valid dog ticket. Please remember to bring all necessary documents (e.g. EU pet passport) for crossing the border.

In the 1st class of the Bernina Express, you will enjoy a particularly high level of comfort and tranquillity. The seats are wider, offer more legroom and a greater distance to the seat in front – ideal for a relaxed journey through the Alps.

In 2nd class, there are two seats on each side of the aisle. This means slightly denser seating and less space per person. The seats are narrower, but still comfortable and functional.
