Yes, younger children can also take part in the trip. Children under the age of four don’t need a ticket. Please note, however, that the number of seats is limited. Younger children may therefore have to sit on their chaperone’s lap. There’s also a section of the journey that’s covered on foot. If you wish, you can skip this part and stay on the train and join the group again later.

No, as this is a special trip, no 1-day passes for children or season tickets are valid for children. Chaperones with a Half-Fare travelcard or GA travelcard benefit from a discount.

Along the way, there’ll be a stop at a viewpoint to admire the beautiful panoramic view. This is where you can eat your picnic.

For part of the train journey, the children travel unchaperoned in Clà Ferrovia’s carriage. They then spend the rest of the day with their chaperones. During the hike and over lunch, the entire group will be out and about together. On the return journey, Clà Ferrovia and Linard Bardill will walk through the train telling stories and singing songs, while the children are once again looked after by their chaperones.

Yes, there’s a toilet on board.

As the journey takes place in nostalgic coaches, it’s not barrier-free. There’s also a hike that’s not possible with a pushchair.

When tickets are cancelled, the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Contract and Travel of Rhaetian Railway, “5.1.2 Special offers and package arrangements”, shall apply:

• A processing fee of CHF 60.00 will be charged up to 30 days prior to the date of travel (maximum CHF 120.00 per change).

• If cancelled between 29 and 7 days before the trip, 70% of the invoice amount will be charged.

• If cancelled later (less than 7 days before the date of travel), the full amount will be charged.

Yes. Small dogs (up to 30 cm shoulder height) travel free of charge in a transport box. Larger dogs require a valid dog ticket.
