Your four-legged friend needs a ticket to travel on the train. You require one 2nd-class half-price ticket per animal – even if you, the owner, are travelling in 1stclass. Dogs measuring less than 30 cm in height (up to the shoulder blades) do not require a ticket, provided they are carried in a suitable container (e.g. a transport box or a hand-held basket).
Your beloved pet can travel freely all day with the 1-day travelpass for dogs. If you regularly take your dog on the train, the dog pass is worth it.
