Il Mesolcines und La Bucunada

Railway carriages for nostalgic fans

Get comfortable in the hand-woven wicker chairs and enjoy the view of the passing landscape. The historical, yellow Il Mesolcines and La Bucunada passenger cars date back to the early days of the Rhaetian Railway and enable passengers to travel on the Bernina Line just as the early railway pioneers did. The nostalgic Mesolcines car has 12 woven wicker chairs and 31 seats on wooden benches that are just as they would have been in 3rd class at the time. La Bucunada is an additional car that is ideal for a mid-morning or afternoon snack on products from the canton of Graubünden.
