Bicycles, e-bikes and similar items must be loaded and unloaded by the passenger. RhB staff will be happy to advise you and will also ensure your safety as you load and unload your bicycle. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please make sure you are at the luggage car in good time to load/unload your bicycle.
Please note that bicycle tickets are valid on RhB, SBB, PostAuto post buses and various other transport companies. Each passenger is allowed to transport one bicycle. Please show your cycle ticket along with your normal ticket, without being asked to do so.
Self-loading of special bikes is permitted. Special bicycles are bicycles that are longer than 2 metres, usually tandems, recumbent bicycles and cargo bicycles. For the permitted self-loading of special bicycles, only one bicycle ticket is required.
Self-service bicycle transport is not available for groups of ten and more people. In this case, you must reserve at least 48 hours before departure either at the station or by calling Railservice on +41 81 288 65 65 or by e-mailing railservice(at)rhb.ch. Bicycles can be dispatched as luggage from manned railway stations.
