All aboard for one of Europe’s most spectacular rail journeys – on the Bernina Express, the panoramic train that combines contrasts. The journey begins in Chur, the oldest town in Switzerland. From there, the route takes you through narrow gorges, over the world-famous Landwasser Viaduct and past eternal glaciers – all the way to Mediterranean Tirano, where palm trees blow in the wind. Glacier Express
