Final preparatory competition in Chur on 13–14 August 2026
From 22 to 27 September 2026, Shanghai will host ‘WorldSkills’, the world championships for young professionals. The two Graubünden natives, Gianin Schneller from Ems-Chemie and Massimiliano Pellegrini from the Rhaetian Railway, will compete in the ‘Automation Technicians’ category and aim to bring the world title back to Switzerland. To ensure they are fully prepared for this major event, a final preparatory competition will take place in Chur: Pre-competition for WorldSkills Shanghai Thu 13 August 2026, 9am–5pm Fri 14 August 2026, 9am–5pm Titthof Chur, Tittwiesenstrasse 8, 7000 Chur Free entry Visitors will have the chance to see the two talented automation technicians up close as they tackle challenging tasks on site under competition conditions.
