Luggage and flight luggage

You drop off your luggage at a station offering luggage shipping services and pick it up at your destination station in Switzerland two days later. Please note the deadline at RhB stations.

Prices:

• CHF 12.00 per item of luggage, e.g. suitcase, bag, skis, snowboard, sledge or pushchair (max. 23 kg)

• CHF 20.00 per bicycle

• CHF 30.00 per e-bike ‌and special bike

You can only check luggage in if you are in possession of a valid ticket for the entire journey or hold an annual season ticket.

Have your luggage picked up at your address in Switzerland and it will be delivered to your destination address two days later.

Customers are responsible for checking in their luggage at Zurich Airport. The offer is available for all airline departures.

Luggage is allowed on board the Glacier Express. For larger suitcases, there are special racks at the end of each carriage, while carry-on suitcases and bags can be stored under or between the seats. However, due to the limited space on the Glacier Express, we recommend that you take no more than one additional piece of luggage in addition to your hand luggage. For larger items of luggage or several items of luggage, we kindly ask you to organise luggage transport wherever possible.

There is not enough space on the Glacier Express for the following luggage: ski luggage, oversized luggage, bicycles/electric scooters

It is possible to take luggage with you on board the Bernina Express. However, the space available is limited. For this reason, we ask that you only travel with hand luggage if possible in order to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers.

Pictograms on the train indicate luggage racks in the carriage. Please ensure that your luggage is securely fastened and does not obstruct the aisle. If the luggage racks are already occupied, you can also stow your luggage between and under the seats. In this way, you can always keep an eye on your luggage. There is a luggage rack above the seats where you can store smaller items of luggage such as rucksacks and handbags.
