The UNESCO World Heritage Site and pristine Alpine landscapes within reach: a trip on the Bernina Express is a travel experience in a class of its own.From Chur, the oldest town in Switzerland, the route takes you over 196 bridges and through 55 tunnels – past wild gorges, over the famous Landwasser Viaduct, up to the Bernina Pass, to the glaciers and down to the palm trees in Tirano, Italy. The modern panoramic cars offer first-class travel comfort and make the impressive landscape appear almost within reach. Buy your ticket now and reserve your seat. If you wish, you can also travel with the Bernina Express Bus between Tirano and Lugano.

Due to engineering works, Bernina Express trains 951 and 952 will be diverted via Vereina (Chur – Landquart – Klosters – Vereina Tunnel – Sagliains – Pontresina) from Thursday 29 October to Friday 13 November 2026.
