Arosa Lenzerheide has been one of the largest continuous snow sports areas in the Swiss Alps since the two destinations were spectacularly linked with the Urdenbahn aerial tramway. With three sides of the valley, record-breaking sunny days and 43 transport facilities, this area, with its guarantee of snow, invites you to enjoy a special snow sports experience.

By the way: in Arosa, group ski and snowboard courses are included in the price for visitors under 18 who stay for two nights or more.

*The bus/train ticket is valid on the following routes (2nd class):

  • Chur – Arosa
  • Chur – Lenzerheide
  • Tiefencastel – Lenzerheide

Validity

With a valid winter sports pass for Arosa Lenzerheide you can travel by public transport to the ski area and back for free. Your equipment simply has to show that you are a snowboarder, skier, sledger, snowshoe hiker or winter hiker. The offer is valid for 2nd class travel by RhB and PostBus between Chur – Arosa, Chur – Lenzerheide and Tiefencastel – Lenzerheide.

If you hold a multi-day winter sports pass but are not carrying your sports equipment with you by public transport as you travel back and forth to the ski area, you can ask at the cable car ticket desks in Arosa and Lenzerheide for confirmation that will nevertheless entitle you to travel on the specified routes for free.

The Urden Cable Car connects the two ski resorts of Arosa and Lenzerheide. The brand new cabins float on the aerial cableway across the unspoilt beauty of the Urden Valley. The cables cover a distance of 1.7 kilometres without supporting masts – making the cable car a true queen of the air.
