I've forgotten my GA travelcard: Can I still travel?
If you do not have your GA with you, buy a standard ticket for your journey at the ticket office and ask to have it noted on the ticket that you have forgotten your GA. Following your journey, present your ticket and GA travelcard at any ticket office. The price of the ticket will be refunded – minus an administration fee of CHF 5.00.
Alternatively, notify the train guard that you have forgotten your GA travelcard. The guard will carry out an online check to verify the validity of your GA travelcard or issue you with a provisional ticket, which you should take to a ticket office within ten days in order to claim your refund – minus an administration fee of CHF 5.00. The same applies in the event of loss or theft. Please note that the replacement GA travelcard cannot be deposited or cancelled, and the price cannot be refunded.
