Do you often travel on public transport with children? Then the Junior travelcard and Junior Escort Card are just the thing for you.
Junior travelcard
With the Junior travelcard for 30 francs, children from the age of six up until the day before their sixteenth birthday can travel free throughout Switzerland for a whole year when accompanied by a parent. The parent must be in possession of a valid ticket. From the third child onwards, you will receive the Junior travelcard free of charge. It is also worth asking local public transport operators, as the Junior travelcard may also be used to travel free or at a reduced price on many local tram and bus routes.
Junior Escort Card
With the Junior Escort Card for 30 francs, children from the age of six up until the day before their sixteenth birthday can travel free throughout Switzerland for a whole year when accompanied by an adult (over 16) in possession of a valid ticket. It is also worth asking local public transport operators, as the Junior Escort Card may also be used to travel free or at a reduced price on many local tram and bus routes.
