The environment means a lot to us
Alongside an increase in energy efficiency, the focus is on the use of renewable energy. Since 2013, the Rhaetian Railway has been sourcing the electrical energy for its passenger trains from hydropower.
At the same time, the Rhaetian Railway has been optimising its energy efficiency, thus allowing it not only to improve its own carbon footprint, but also to make a significant contribution towards improving the carbon footprint of its customers and business partners.
