National Park Zernez

A charter ride to see Graubünden's heraldic animal

The Swiss National Park is magnificent: ibex, mountain hares, red deer and wolves live here. At the visitor centre in Zernez, experts in their field will let you into the park's secrets. A guided tour reveals the wonderful world of geology, plants and animals.

From Landquart, you take an RhB charter ride through the Prättigau area, passing through the Vereina Tunnel into the Engadin. The visitor centre in Zernez is the heart and soul of the National Park: you can find out everything you need to know here about the nature park, its flora and fauna. Scientific facts mingle with the mystical and sensual as the expert guides relate their tales during a tour of the exhibition. And at the end, the National Park has a small surprise in store.

Experience animals in the wild and unique flora and fauna in the National Park Zernez.

The Prättigau region between Landquart and Davos is both gently rolling and at the same time wildly mountainous. Hikers, bikers, those with an interest in culture and those who enjoy the finer things in life will all find something to write home about here – coupled with true hospitality.
